大浦湾でグラスボートから青サンゴを見よう！辺野古の海の豊かさを
自分の目で確かめよう！

世界ウチナーンチュ大会に参加される皆さん、
10月28日は名護市の東海岸大浦湾で
グラスボートに乗って巨大な青サンゴ群落を見ませんか？

1996年より、辺野古崎の埋め立てによって新しい米軍基地を作る計画があり、大浦湾はその環境が壊される危険にさらされています。
大浦湾・辺野古海域は沖縄が世界に誇れる生物多様性豊かな海です。
国際的な保護動物ジュゴンが生息し、青サンゴの巨大群落（北半球で最大級）のほか、5000種以上の生物が確認され、そのうち絶滅危惧種は250種を超えています。
そんな宝の海を埋め立て、米軍基地を作る？！ありえない、ことが計画されているのです。どうか、この現状を見に来てください。沖縄に来るなら今、大浦湾を絶対見るべきです。自分の目で見て、沖縄に何が起きているのか、知ってください。

Uchinanchu Festival

"The visit of the Oura Bay with the glass boat , and meeting with local residents"

Visit the Oura bay and realize by yourself the beauty of the area of Henoko-Oura　！

Those involved in the world Uchinanchu Festival, please come to the Oura Bay to see the big blue corals, October 28 !

The　area　of Oura Bay and Henoko Coast has an extra biodiversity and is what the Uchinanchu can be proud of to the whole world!

But because of the plan to build a new US military base ,the bay is facing to danger to be reclaimed.

An international protected animal dugong, huge community of blue coral ( one of the largest in the northern hemisphere ) and other　species live in the area : are confirmed more than 5,300 species including 262　endangered species.

Reclaim land from such a treasure sea, to build a US military base ? !

Unbelievable, but it has been planning since 1996.
